How Much Can You Predict Any Sport?

How much can you predict any sport? I got to thinking about this while I was in Las Vegas, Nevada on business a couple of weeks ago. Of course the place I stayed at was right beside one of those sports bookmakers. You could bet on just about any sport and I was sitting there wondering if there were any of the sports where you might plausibly hope to win most of the time. I was thinking that tennis predictions might be the best choice, but only so long as you have a dominant player on both sides of the draw. Of course I am referring to Serena Williams in woman’s tennis and Djokovic in men’s tennis. Taking on a Free Offer

People often say that the best things in life are free, but I’m not sure if that saying should apply to everything. When I received an invitation for a Sports Clips free haircut, I was a little reluctant to accept it. A friend of mine had received a free haircut from another barber a couple of years ago, and the barber gave him the worst haircut ever. It was pretty funny to me as an observer, but my friend didn’t think it was so funny. He was so mad that he wanted to sue the barber, but I talked him out of it.

I decided not to let my friend’s haircut experience sour mine. I needed a haircut and Sports Clips had a pretty good reputation, so I didn’t have too much to worry about. If the haircut went bad, I could always shave my head to a military style cut and wear that for a while. The hair will grow back anyway. Read the rest of this entry »
